Founded in 2014 by London-based designer Chrissa Amuah, AMWA Designs channels the spirit of Ghana through contemporary homewares and textiles. Educated at Chelsea College of Art & Design, Chrissa draws on her Ghanaian heritage, particularly Adinkra symbols and proverbs, to shape ornaments that blend meaning and visual beauty. Her work resonates with a forward thinking generation, transforming everyday objects into vessels for wisdom and positivity.

Her “Duality” textile collection for Bernhardt and her contribution to the Ghana Pavilion at the London Design Biennale showcase how AMWA is redefining luxury with depth, cultural narrative and artisanal integrity.
