Founded in Zurich in 2008 by Ina Rinderknecht, her studio merges heritage, craft, and cultural memory into luxurious interior architecture for both residences and boutique hospitality. Born in Seoul and educated in design in Milan, Ina’s international upbringing and early career in Hawaii laid the groundwork for a practice that blends travel, tradition, and attention to detail into each project.
The studio delivers transformative spaces, warm, refined, and deeply rooted in context. Projects like Villa Sophia on Lake Zurich, where a classical villa was reborn through layered textures, soft pastel tones, and narrative detail, or a serene Alpine villa in “Fernblick,” where wood and nature meld to create a tranquil sanctuary, illustrate her signature: interiors that feel effortless yet emotionally rich, timeless yet richly personal.
At the heart of the studio is a considered process: listen closely, edit rigorously, build beautifully. Ina works hand in hand with artisans to develop bespoke furniture, metalwork and lighting, selecting materials for touch, patina and longevity rather than trend. Sustainability is folded into early decisions through local sourcing and durable finishes, so rooms age with grace. The result is a quiet kind of luxury, deeply felt and built to last.
