CHARU GANDHI

ICON OF TODAY

Charu Gandhi’s story starts in Delhi, where a childhood steeped in craft and a formative encounter with a female architect set her path. London followed: the Architectural Association, then teaching, and major work with Allies & Morrison before leading private commissions at Candy & Candy. In 2014 she founded Elicyon to unite architectural rigor with a love of decorative craft.

Her practice is personal by design. Charu listens first, then edits plan, proportion and material until a room feels inevitable, authentic to the client, beautifully made, and effortless to live in.

The studio’s language is tactile and tailored, realised with a close circle of craftspeople; projects range from One Hyde Park in London to expansive international homes and landmark developments, all carrying that calm precision and human warmth.

What drives Elicyon is the belief that interiors should express how people want to live. Gandhi’s team brings architecture, interiors and delivery into one conversation, turning aspiration into spaces that are elegant, individual and built to last.
