Sarah Tract is the New York–based designer behind the eponymous studio, known for interiors that feel as playful as they are chic. Raised on Long Island, she discovered her passion for decorating early, switching from fashion to fashioning homes, and took her first leap into design as a junior designer right before starting college. Her aesthetic blends livability with personality, creating homes that are stylish yet deeply personal.
Her work spans thoughtful city dwellings to family homes designed for real life. In a recent project on Long Island, she balanced mid-century modern style with everyday practicality, designing spaces for a busy family that are as functional as they are calming.
In another Manhattan project, she infused a contemporary apartment with warmth and character by layering global finds against clean, modern backdrops. Through it all, Sarah creates interiors that bring art, memory and comfort into perfect harmony.
