A Floral Masterclass at JANUS et Cie
OLISE Magazine collaborated with JANUS et Cie and Interiors Academy to host an immersive floral workshop with leading interior design studios on Fulham Road.
Set among the brand’s furniture and accessories collections, the space offered a calm, considered backdrop, reflecting JANUS et Cie’s focus on craftsmanship and outdoor living.
Led by our Editor-in-Chief, Bilen Zeremariam, the session focused on the process of building an arrangement, working through composition, balance and material in a more hands-on way.
Tables were filled with flowers in soft whites, creams and greens — roses, tulips, daisies, sea holly and baby’s breath. Everyone worked through their own arrangement, playing with balance, texture and shape.
It was a nice shift in pace. A chance to step away from screens and drawings and focus on something tactile. The same thinking still applies, from proportion and layering to how elements sit together, just in a different form.
The workshop marked the start of the outdoor specifying season through material, process and shared experience.
