Greg Natale’s artistic approach to interior design is exceptional and his design studio is certainly leading the design community down-under. Testament to his creativity is his latest project in NSW, a Georgian family residence which is minimal and sumptuous, balancing the sensible symmetry of Georgian architecture with the layering of contemporary finishes. OLISE takes a dive inside the sensual home and discovers what lies beneath the double-door entrance.
From the moment we walked inside, we were overwhelmed by the stunning entrance with its striking black and white floor and bespoke curved staircase. The deep turquoise glass chandelier sets the scene and marries perfectly with the soft blush circular rug.
One of our favourite rooms is the study, with bespoke joinery in a black finish with gold pull handles; it sits between a colourful floral wall covering that makes the black pop even more giving a striking effect.

The main living area is more subtle in its palette with a mix of neutrals building depth to the interior. The clever use of different materials creates a vibrant modern décor with walls complete with white lacquered fluting and deep plum upholstery adding elegance and flair.
The living room leads on to the family kitchen with the bright white walls and ceiling allowing the outdoor light to shine through and bring warmth to the interior. The large marble backsplash is also used to frame the kitchen joinery, creating unity and subtle elegance.
The dining room, with its lacquered cobalt blue cabinetry, seamlessly blends into the blue ceiling creating a true wow factor as soon as we enter the room. Balanced with the statement black wooden table with leg fluting continues the theme and pops of red leather on the chairs is simply stunning.
Upstairs, a mix of elegant pastels, contemporary European furniture and luxurious finishes craft a detailed yet clean, modern, and airy interior.
